Steve Gulla
Principal
With over 20 years of experience, Steve is an award winning graphic designer. He has the ability to translate complex technical information into cohesive, easy to understand visuals.
Steve studied at the University of Siena, Italy and the School of Visual Arts before completing an advanced graphic design program at Pratt Institute in New York City. In addition, he received a BA in liberal arts from Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire.
In his work, Steve consistently focuses on the simplicity and purity of natural design elements. Indeed, in the technological marketplace where too many images assault, instead of attract and endure, Steve succeeds in transforming a client’s wishes into a visual statement that speaks volumes…but quietly and powerfully. By stripping images to their most basic, he creates a single, solid layer of visual meaning. A meaning that is only enhanced by his deft use of typography.
Before starting Gulla Design, Steve gained invaluable experience at such award-winning firms as Michael Gerbino Designs and The Switzer Group, Inc., where his assignments included website design, logo design, signage bid packages and print collateral.
