Gulla Design was contracted by Troystar Communications, LLC. to create an identity, package design and brochure for their new spring water. Logo design was the first phase of the project. The client requested a nice, clean look that highlighted the fact that the client was an Olympic skiier and also his affinity for the Swiss Alps. By manipulating a modern sans serif font and dotting the 'i' with a snowflake, their new logo was born. We felt that straying from photography, which was utilzed in the previous brand, and using a more illustrative approach would created a more refreshing look for the new identity. The drawing of the mountains and positioning them behind the logo has become a key indentifier of the new package design. The clean look of the packaging lends itself to a strong shelf presence. The brochure was created so it could be included with the samples of the bottled water. The content primarily focused on the bottling process and origin of the water.
